This site was initially set up as a portal for the official Flanagan Clan. The site is currently undergoing an update with a relaunch due around the new year (2010). With the revamp, the site is aiming to include a greater cross section of the Irish Diaspora who are descendants of the various Ó Flannagáin clans from Ireland, regardless of the modern spelling variation they use.
The site relies on user interaction to remain current, topical to the target group and viable. The site so far has not enjoyed the support it deserves, but there are aims to promote the site leading up to the relaunch in early 2010.
